莫莉DePue and her family moved from Nevada to Texas in 2005. She and her husband have been married for over 32 years and have three amazing grown children, one daughter and two sons. Molly, who calls herself an “eclectic gardener,” relaxes by digging in the dirt. Her garden continues to develop as a meandering collection of plants and vegetables, including canna lilies, 芙蓉, zucchini and cherry tomato plants. An avid recycler at home and at work, Molly’s motto for her students is “Hug a tree and come to class.”

A Conversation with 莫莉DePue
What would you tell a student who is thinking about attending A&移动商务?
If you are looking for a school where students are not numbers and are known by others, then A&移动商务 is a great choice. It has a family atmosphere that is open and comfortable. The 商务 community is kind and inclusive toward A&移动商务 students, and our students are happy to be on campus. A&移动商务 is always finding ways to provide opportunities for students.
What do you like most about your role as an operations manager?
我喜欢挑战. My involvement with the 达拉斯 campus began with its construction. Jeremy Gamez and I developed the audio-visual scheme for this campus, and I was able to oversee the project from the planning and installation phases to the maintenance and operation of each audio-visual (AV) item. Toward the end of the AV installation, I was offered the position of operations manager for the 达拉斯 site. Since then, I have been actively involved with AV operations in each classroom and event planning. We have a vast number of events that bring people to the 达拉斯 site, and I love showing A&移动商务’s progress and capabilities through these events.
What is your goal as the operations manager?
My goal is to promote the continued growth of A&移动商务 at 达拉斯. As operations manager, I ensure students’ needs are met, from meals and study spaces to relaxation zones where they can meet friends. A&移动商务 at 达拉斯 allows our non-traditional students who work full-time the flexibility to further their education.
I believe in face-to-face contact between students and professors because it allows students to engage more fully in their education. We host numerous events that bring students and visitors to the 达拉斯 site. These events provide our students the opportunity to meet professionals and network with them at our site, which is something our students might not otherwise do if they were taking classes completely online.
另外, when visitors request tours, I ensure they get a tour to see all the possibilities within our facilities. With our students and visitors, I showcase A&移动商务's progress and capabilities through the success of the 达拉斯 site.
